Guest guest
Hi everyone, I got to use my balsamic vinegar in this recipe. I never knew I would own a cookbook and I found this one at the used store for a dollar. Every day I wake up happy that I learned so much here and it wasn't hard to make this recipe out of this book. I made this and took to my friends last night. I knew everyone was making hamburgers so I took a frozen vegetable burger and everyone liked this on their burger. Here is the recipe of any members wants to try it. The name of this book is Readers Digest Great Recipes for Good Health. I just won't make any of the meat ones in it. Onion Relish 3 small yellow onions, sliced thin into rings 1 small red onion sliced thin into rings 2 tablespoons sugar I only had 1 1/2 tablespoons in the bowl to use 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar but I put in more 1 tablespoon white vinegar 2 teaspoons dijon or spicy brown mustard 1/8 teaspoon black pepper Place all ingredients in a small glass bowl. Cover and let stand at room temperature at least 30 minutes before serving. Or chill in the refrigerator overnight. Store tightly covered in the refrigerator up to one week.
