Guest guest
Now this one needs a more clever name, but " Herb Mix " is what i always have called it. *lol* Name suggestions? Anyway, i promised to post some of my favorite homemade seasoning blends to add to the gift basket ideas, so here goes... Herb Mix This can be used as a seasoning for fried potatoes and other vegetables. It is also used in a whole wheat muffin recipe that is very good. 1 Tbs dried basil 1 Tbs ground coriander 1 Tbs dried thyme 2 tsp ground cumin 2 tsp dried minced onion 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp parsley flakes 1 tsp paprika In a bowl, combine the ingredients and mix together well. Store in a cool dry place for up to one year. Yield: about 1/4 cup mix. ~ pt ~ / Simplify, simplify. ~ Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862)
