Can't find Spinach Pie ... OK I found it Jane P/S revised

I put tomato slices in a circle on the top before ai bake and a sprinkle of

This is a good one from Bon Appetit magazine back in 1981. I searched the net

for it and by lucky chance it is posted in :

I need a Spinach type pie to take to dinner for Christmas.

 

Yesterday, while trying to plan Christmas dinner with my daughter in law, we

tried to think of something different. In the past we have done foods of

different countries, ordered Chinese (yes they are open Christmas), and done

traditional type dinners. (We are the only vegetarians but everyone loves what

we bring to share)

 

So yesterday we decided to draw a letter of the alphabet from a hat and only

bring three things that start with that letter! I got the letter - S.

Haven't planned everything yet but I thought Spinach Pie would be great.
