Canned peas and beans Colleen

Canned pea girl here, I can also eat cold cream of mushroom soup out of the can.

Now did I gross you out yet?.......LOL Hey, why don't you try a hummus made

with white beans in the files. That way the beans will be smooth and you will

get all good nutrients beans have and they won't burst in your mouth. You can

use the hummus as a sandwich spread or a dip. I respect when a person can't

stand a certain food or scent. We are all different. I almost gag at the

market checkout area since all the mint gum and Altoids are placed there.

My nephew won't touch a tomato but he will eat ketchup on everything and

spaghetti sauce with tomato chunks.

Me, I don't eat peas at all. I ate them and liked them as a kid. But,

somewhere along the way, I began to dislike (hate actually) any pea or bean that

burst open in my mouth. This includes all the bean things like lima, pinto etc.

Although, in my quest for healthier eating, I am seriously considering giving

beans another try. Maybe I should start with the littler peas. LOL I must

admit, it is kind of embarrassing to be " avoiding " or " picking out " the

beans/peas that seem to be in soups and chilis. :-D

I'm guilty and worse yet. Out of the can cold.........hahahahaha I don't

care for them but in a pinch I have.
