Guest guest
I used to have a boss from Sweden and every year we were invited to him home for appetizers, Swedish Glogg, gift exchange and lighting candles on the Christmas tree. I will definately try your recipe with aquavit, I should be able to find a bottle. Funny mixing the recipes up, I saw that and laughed. Thanks for this post and correction too, Fiona , purplepassion <thelilacflower> wrote: Glogg " > 1 bottle of red wine, (use an inexpensive medium dry wine) > 1/3 to 1/2 cup aquavit but vodka will work since aquavit is hard to find > 10 cloves > 1 full tsp. of cardamon seeds > 2 or 3 cinnamon sticks > 1 slice of fresh ginger > peel from 1/2 orange > 1/3 cup sugar > 1 large tsp. vanilla sugar (mix few drops of vanilla with sugar) > > Break up cinnamon sticks, crush cardamom pods, and place in a jar > with aquavit or vodka.
