Guest guest
hahaha Your post is really funny. I ate everything and Mom couldn't understand why I would eat persimmons, lima beans, anything a neighbor or anyone else handed me. The only things I don't like are milk, mint, and rye seeds. I really can't think of anything else. I'm not crazy about green bell peppers but I eat them, real hot foods I don't crave either. What music do you have on now????? Donna ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote: Superman has his kryptonite and linda has her celery. Now we know her weakness! hahaha But back to forced foods... My parents did that to me with spinach, onions, and green peppers; oh, and don't forget lima beans. But the weird thing is, i love all of them now! Hard to believe i would have little pickie-piles of discarded veggie bits on my plate... if i saw an onion, i picked it out and into the pile it went. *lol* Now spinach, well, my mom just cooked it into a gross slimey pile that reminded me of a cow-pie; sure smelled like one, too. First time i had it cooked right i loved it though. Celery: hated it as a child, but love it now. Remember that ad jingle " Nobody doesn't like Sara Lee! " ? Well, i thought they were singing, " nobody doesn't like celery " ....and i would get so angry with those TV people because i didn't like celery and i knew i wasn't alone in this! *lol* No fan of cooked beets, ~ pt ~ Although I can accept talking scarecrows, lions and great wizards of emerald cities, I find it hard to believe there is no paperwork involved when your house lands on a witch. ~ Dave James ~~~*~~~*~~~> " PuterWitch " <puterwitch Re: Re: [recipe] Herbed Cheese Dip Re: Celery yeah ya know, I don't hate any vegetable. The only veggie I don't like is okra (hush Donna) But I could still eat it. Some people hate things I have noticed because they were forced to eat them as a child. I am so glad that my parents made me try things yes, but never, " YOU ARE GONNA EAT EVERYTHING ON YOUR PLATE " nonsense.
Guest guest
SWMNBN has her ways of discovering your weakness so just remember that she who laughs last laughs best....fear should be striking your heart at this very moment. I pay really good wages to my underlings. Clark Kent could never hold a candle to SWMNBN. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it.
