Guest guest
Hi Gayle Go to our files and click on " Tips & Tricks " I have folders set with instructions on how to fire roast the whole garlic bulb and how to use plantains in soups. Make sure you pick a black plantain. It will be ready to use, will not be mushy and sweet like a regular banana. Now if you want to find soups to toss the plantains and garlic bulb into try looking in the hot soup folder for Tlapeno Soup, Sopa de Papas Con Chile, Veg and Barley Soup and Ecuadorian soup. Open yopur taste buds to a real treat. Donna glpveg4life wrote: HI Donna: I have never used them. Do you have any good recipes? Guest guest
Yes, they can be fried also. That's a staple in Yucatan so I have those often ay my sisters house but this in a perfect way to have them with your soup, they have a whole different flavor in the soup. You're welcome.
