Guest guest
I just want to say that it's a pleasure having so many members are from across the US and even abroad. I'm a Calif native and several different foods have popped up in posts that I have never heard of. Boston Baked beans I have seen in a can but I know nothing of this bread, just like the perogi's. Now ask me how to cook cactus, Chinese food, Mexican food, what to do with an avocado, how to peel a mango in cubes and not waste any, recipes using tequila as a saute, those typics I can explain. Guest guest
Hi Donna: I would imagine you don't have a big polish population so you don't see a lot of polish foods. Boston Brown bread is a bread with molasses in it. Boston Baked beans also has molasses in them. Boston is known as bean town. Guest guest
Donna, Oh, please DO explain how to cut a mango in cubes! That would be very helpful to me, at least. I've mangled quite a few mangos this past year <g> tryin' to cut 'em up. It is interestin', isn't it, havin' so many varieties of food from folks. I quite agree. hugs, Bron On 12/2/05, purplepassion <thelilacflower wrote: > > > > I just want to say that it's a pleasure having so many members are > from across the US and even abroad.
