Guest guest
This group is so wonderful with all of the blessings and prayers that you send out to complete strangers. I received an email from my friend, Janet, in regards to the pathology report of her daughter's tumor. I am pasting it here: Hello, Becky's pathology report came back on Monday. It was not good news as we all hoped. She has ganglioneuroblastoma and it has spread. They found cancer cells in a lymph node near the main artery of her heart. We're going back in this Monday for a bone scan and for a bone marrow test to see if the cancer is there. There is hope...if it is not there, she won't have to undergo any other treatment. If it is, the prognosis is not good. Please pray that the test comes out negative on Monday and add her to any prayer chains you know of. ----- (me again) I looked up ganglioneuroblastoma and found that it's a tumor arising from the nerve tissue and is very rare (a yearly occurence of less 5 per million children). It also seems to be intermediate between benign and malignant, so I guess it's a 50% chance either way. I believe in the power of prayer and blessings (no matter what you pray to) and I know that the first request really helped her come out of surgery and begin healing so quickly. thank you, Denise
