So nice hearing from you.

Wait and see how much you use your new stock pot. I think the secret is more

room and depth. You won't have splashes on the stove.

I know, it's nice using metal utensils, isn't it?

Hope you and your family have been well. Since you last posted,

Chanda designed the photo area. Go to the home page and click on the line for

photo area. Check out Marilyn Monroe and the groups of

Mornin' Donna. I wanted to let you know that we bought a stock pot

pot this weekend. It is cast iron. Can't wait to use it. I've made

our Artichoke and root vegetable gratin in it. It felt wierd using a

metal utensil while cooking. I'm reading a book on cleaning and how

to do it fast. . . anyway. . . it says the worse chore that everyone

complains about is cleaning the stove. It recommended using bigger

pots and pans than what we think is necessary to prevent spills. So,

I thought the stock pot might be an overkill, but I'm going to try

it. What the heck, I got it on sale and it wasn't much.

Hope all is going well.
