Guest guest Posted November 28, 2005 Report Share Posted November 28, 2005 Mornin' Donna. I wanted to let you know that we bought a stock pot pot this weekend. It is cast iron. Can't wait to use it. I've made our Artichoke and root vegetable gratin in it. It felt wierd using a metal utensil while cooking. I'm reading a book on cleaning and how to do it fast. . . anyway. . . it says the worse chore that everyone complains about is cleaning the stove. It recommended using bigger pots and pans than what we think is necessary to prevent spills. So, I thought the stock pot might be an overkill, but I'm going to try it.
