Guest guest
At one Chinese restaurant we used to go to they had a soup that was delicious, but the tofu was plain, soft tofu and the texture was much too mushy for me at that time. Now I like it in broth especially when I am not feeling so wonderful. It is mild, very mild. When I was in Escondido, CA I went to a store called Jimbo's which had a hot deli with lots of vegan foods. Thich Nhat Hanh has a monastery there and they shop there which was a clue to me to try it. It had some of the most wonderful tofu...sweet and sour tofu nuggets that for the life of me I can't mimic and a southwest tofu that was to die for. If that would be people's first exposure to tofu they would all eat it. And they had a vegan peanut butter cup that took me three days to eat...it was so rich and good. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it. Reminds me of cottage cheese. I can't handle mint or a lot of spice and my sister is crazy about both of those. Donna

I work a few miles away from there, and often stop on the way home... :-) > Thich Nhat Hanh has a monastery there and they shop there which was > a clue to me to try it. He does?? Any more info?
