Att: Linda tempeh

I've been kind of funny about tempeh myself. I wouldn't touch it since it

looked moldy, steamed it and grated it in a few things I posted and it was

great. It is very strange and you really don't crave it as far as I can see but

it did turn out wonderfully in my recipes. I'm a tofu fan also. It's so

versatile. Donna

One of our local markets makes it and I think that a couple of the last times I

bought theirs it was over date...it is in their open deli case...it had an off

taste and a little slimy I think. I think that stuck with me. I'll try it again

later. I love tofu and there are so many other things to eat that I enjoy more I

suppose.

THank you Linda. I will take a look for one of the boxed products.

I really want to try making seitan. I've seen recipes calling for

seitan but no instructions on where to buy it or how to make it.

I've tried tempeh and I do enjoy it. Have you eaten tempeh?
