Guest guest
I think I'm gonna have the willpower too!!! I think I will go pantry digging and see what I can make for tomorrow!!! My uncle eats hamburgers and chicken and all that in front of me, trying to tempt me, knowing how much I loved all that. (My favorite food used to be BBQ chicken made with Jack Daniels No. 7 Grilling Sauce...it was my birthday pick since I was 11!!!) Get this ya'll! My mom told her doctor about how I'm a vegetarian now when she and my grandparents went the other day, haha, he said " Your daughter is probably the healthiest of you all!!! Guest guest
I personally think you will have the will power tomorrow. Go to the appetizer area in the recipe files and make a dip or a hummus or even a spread for crackers or bread. That will get their mind off your plate. Always remember many of the peopel that pick at you will very will be a veggie one day themselves. It's a defense tactic. I can name so many including my sister Sissy in this group that did that to me for years and years only to end up seeing the light, she and he husband have been veggies for about 4 yrs. Her husband would toss meat on my plate thinking it was funny. Yes, I had to sit on my hands a few times.LOL Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! One of the worst was a guy at my job, now he's a vegetarian, asks for recipes all the time and is always trying to shove tofu in someones face. I remain the same, I sit back and laugh to myself. Since I don't really have a specialty dish of my own yet (that stew I e-mailed a few days ago is hardly anything special LOL) I could help my Grandma make some of the side dishes, so they can't say I didn't help make what I could eat. Or I can just try to throw something together...I mean, after all, how did that stew come together? I just threw it together!!! Peace Up, ***Sara*** " Fur used to turn heads, now it turns stomachs.
