Guest guest
I was 19, newly married, made macaroni and cheese and put it into a corning ware pan which back then was only suitable in the oven, not on the stove top. I put it on the burner and it disliked the heat and burst leaving burner covered in cooked on cheese and macaroni with glass everywhere. I didn't have a clue as to how to clean it. It seemed to me then that an " electric burner " was just that...charged with electricity. Hubby cleaned up most of it, but couldn't get the cheese off the burner. Never could use the burner again and when we moved out we left the cheese behind on the burner. Bet the landlords were horrified. linda " Whatever you do will be insignificant and it is very important that you do it.
