Guest guest
I became a veg about a year ago but went back to meat for a while. Here's why. I work at the phone company as a repairman so I don't have a choice where I am at lunchtime or have access to a fridge. I work anywhere from 12 to 16 hours a day 6 days a week so as you can imagine I don't have time to make anything fancy. I need help. As soon as I went back to meat I ballooned up and gained 40 pounds. I went back to veg today. Does anyone know what I can make for my lunches and snacks that will keep in an ice cooler? One of the problems I had last time was I wasn't eating right. I was eating at gas stations. You can imagine how healthy that was. Oh yeah, one last problem, I don't have an oven. I know it is a lot but I would appreciate any help I can get. Erik <><
Guest guest
Hi Erik, Try protein bars - there easy to carry, and can act as an entire meal. Power bar- Harvest bars are great! Al fruits and veggies are great to pack to work, just wash, cut, peal and bag em up the night before if needed. All nuts are good, an excellent source of protein, very much needed by vegetarians. Protein shakes, meal replacement shakes, are also good to have just bring a cooler with ice and try to get low sugar shakes and watch out for those with splenda as one of the heighest ingredients. Hope this helps a bit! Will --- erikwillke <erik wrote: > I became a veg about a year ago but went back to > meat for a while. > Here's why.
