I have been vegetarian or vegan off and on for the last 12 years, and now I am ready to make the change permanent. After hearing ofthe mad cow disease and then ESPECIALLY hearing that they FEED the cattle the blood and by-products of the slaughter house floor, I became so ill and nauseated at that fact that I knew I could no longer eat meat. To take a perfectly content naturally vegetarian cow and make her or him into a cannibal is so horrifying that I thank God that these animals don't know what is being done to them. I crave the "clean" feeling I get when I go veg, and now will feel it again. I hope to hear from some of you.
