Guest guest
You can actually make this without using a recipe at all...equal parts salsa and tomato sauce (or diced tomatoes) makes a wonderful sauce that can have as many or few mix-ins as you want. I sometimes mix one can tomato sauce and half as much picante sauce (using the can to measure) and one can of beans. That's it. This is particularly good as the recipe below and takes less time to make than the pasta does to cook. ~Nita * Exported from MasterCook * Quick Chili Pasta Recipe By :Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00Categories : MAIN DISHES--PASTA Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method-------- ------------ -------------------------------- 12 ounces pasta -- any shape 2 cloves garlic -- minced 1 onion -- finely diced 1 1/2 cups corn kernels -- one 15 ounce can 1 tablespoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1 1/2 cups pinto beans, cooked -- one 15 ounce can 1/2 cup picante sauce -- or more, to taste 1 can tomato sauce -- one 15 ounce can shredded cheddar cheese -- for topping repare pasta according to package directions.
