Guest guest Posted August 28, 2003 Report Share Posted August 28, 2003 * Exported from MasterCook * Quick Chili Pasta Recipe By :Serving Size : 4 Preparation Time :0:00Categories : MAIN DISHES--PASTA Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method-------- ------------ -------------------------------- 8 ounces pasta -- any shape 2 cloves garlic -- minced 1 onion -- finely diced 1 1/2 cups corn kernels -- one 15 ounce can 1/2 tablespoon chili powder 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin 1 1/2 cups pinto beans, cooked -- one 15 ounce can 1/2 cup picante sauce -- or more, to taste 1 can tomato sauce -- one 15 ounce can (or diced tomatoes, with juice) shredded cheddar cheese -- for topping Prepare pasta according to package directions. In a medium saucepan, saute garlic and onion in a little water. Add remaining ingredients, bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
