PB/Banana Smoothie*Flaxseed*

Howdy,

 

You can buy the flaxseed whole and grind it in a coffee grinder, or buy it already grounded. I buy this brand of flaxseed at a discounted price at http://www.vitaminshoppe.com Health from the Sun brand, "FiProFLAX certified organic, specially-milled flaxseed".

 

For those who have elimination issues, ground flaxseed is the way to go. Also, I have used Vitamin Shoppe brand flaxseed oil; and am quite happy with it.

 

I buy most of my stuff at Vitamin Shoppe, everything is at least 20% discounted; and every health brand company seems to be sold in its catalog. Vitamin Shoppe brands can be at least 40% off. I am so spoiled about the prices, I am not a happy camper having to go in a health food store and pay for the full retail price!

This one looks great too! I need to go buy some flaxseed. I have found out that it is good for 2 health things i have problems with - dry eyes, and KP (those red bumps some people have on the back of their arms... I just happen to also have them on my legs and face too - bleh!)

It's also good for those of us who are vegetarians and don't get Omega 3

fatty acids from fish -- it is a WONDERFUL source for this.
