Guest guest Posted February 24, 2003 Report Share Posted February 24, 2003 MY OWN FESTIVE ASIAN MORPH SALAD 1/3 cup wasabi peas or dried/fried green peas 1/4 cup dried cherries 1/4 cup pistachios or cashews (Roasted Soy Nuts for Nut Sensitive Folk) 1/4 cup washed and sliced domestic mushrooms///sliced very thin. 1/3 cup washed raw sugar snap peas, sliced julienne (thin ribbon cut) 1/4 cup fine shredded carrot 1/4 cup Jalepenos (optional for the brave *g* ) About 6 cups lettuce. A mix of Field Greens, Leaf Lettuce, and Baby Spinach is nice. Plain or lightly salted rice cakes Toss all fresh ingredients into large salad bowl. Divide into portions and top with crumbled rice cake Serve with Asian dressing: 3 tablespoons Oil (Canola or Wok Oil is nice) 4 Tablespoons Rice Vinegar 2 1/2 teaspoons soy or tamari 2 1/2 teaspoons minced peeled fresh ginger 1/2 large red onion tinly sliced dash lime juice dash hot sauce dash minced garlic Find yummy treats for Vegetarian and Food sensitive Folk at: http://www.healthygoodiesgifts.com Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
