I'm not absolutely certain, but it is my understanding that B-12 is

in *all* animal products. It also (unlike virtually all the other B

vitamins) stays in the body for a *long* time. If you read the article

carefully, the mothers in question were vegan (or nearly) for 7 and 30

years. If you eat any reasonable amount of any animal products--or have

anytime in the last 5 years--it is almost impossible to be deficient unless

you have absorption problems.

speaking of vitamin b-12, there is a water than i get, glaceau's vitamin

water, i believe, that is enriched with b12. a bit pricey, but some of

the flavours are quite tasty.
