Another interesting idea. Thanks again.

I don't miss eating most meat at all b/c I never did like it.

However, I do miss eating fish and seafood meats.

This sounds like a good fakey-tuna salad idea.

I will have to give it a try. Namaste

For a great sandwich filling, I sometimes cook a cup or so of green

lentils

in four cups of water (just simmer for 20 to 30 minutes or until

tender),

drain them well, let them cool in the fridge and then add finely diced

celery, onion, red and green pepper, garlic powder and a couple of

tablespoons of mayonnaise (I use Spectrum). It's wonderful on top of

toasted whole wheat bread or crackers. I really like lentils much

more

when I experiment and don't just use them in traditional ways.

I have also done it with mashed garbanzo beans and it's alot like chicken

salad.
