Guest guest
Not to go down a totally off topic road, but what a shame! Childbirth is a life altering event, and mom should be supported by people who love and care for her. If you are expecting, look until you find the situation that makes you feel cared for! Take childbirth classes. Also, breast feed your kids if at all possible, and for as long as possible. There, that's on topic <G> natural feeling of babies! I had my babies at home, low risk pregnancies, good midwife. I was also a labor and delivery nurse in the hospital for a long time. Hopefully the moms I cared for didn't feel as alone as you did (This was during my time in Arkansas and Kansas in the 80's) Kris --- " dawn <skgpeace " <skgpeace wrote: > I hadn't wanted to show my ignorance unneccesarily:), but when this > topic came up, I had to do an internet search to find out what a > doula was...
