Guest guest
We enjoy this one too, only for sandwiches, I don't do mine in the food processor as we prefer a little more texture. Instead, I just mash the beans some with a fork. When done in the food processor, it makes a gread dip for raw veggies, or a cracker spread. White Bean Spread 1 can Navy beans or great northerns, drained (about 1 3/4 c.) 2 strips meatless bacon, cooked & minced (or meatless soy bacon bits works well too) 3 cloves garlic, minced 3 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, chopped 1 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp lemon juice salt & pepper to taste Put all in food processor & process about 45 seconds, until smooth. Refrigerate for up to 4 days.
