Guest guest
Oh Dawn I can imagine you would be tired of mashed potatoes and over boiled cauliflower and scalloped potatoes. My dear hubby's mother thinks a meal isn't a meal unless there is potatoes on the table. I for one was not raised like that and find I get so tired of potatoes. It is too bad that people have to feel that they have to put meat in other dishes not realizing that leaving it out is just as tasty as having it in, if not more so. I know I may have said this before but I my self find it rather funny of the 24 years of marriage to my husband, this is the first Christmas we had a vegetarian meal. When I was first married I was the only one who didn't eat meat, except my girls. Now all of us had a Veggie dinner this Christmas and no one seemed to miss the turkey. LOL Had everything else, even dressing, and there was no meat it that either. Even my hubby's oldest brother who came actually had 2 gluten steaks that I had made. Now that to me really made me feel good. LOL I didn't even think he would even try one let alone have 2 of them. ROFL Now if you would like to have the recipe for the gluten steaks I would be more then happy to send it to you. That to me tastes so good. That idea about a little meat won't hurt you reminds me of what my SIL's mother said to me when she was smoking over my oldest daughter was a baby at the time. I pulled her away so that the smoke wouldn't go over her and that she would have to breathe the 2nd hand smoke. Well this mother said to me, " OH a little smoke won't hurt her. " How much is a little or is too much, is what I would ask. Well hope everyone will have the best 2003. May the Lord richly bless you with good happy health. Take care and see you all next year. LOLOL Till next time, JC ===== --FEATURED CHURCH SIGN: May all your troubles be as short as your New Year's Day resolutions. ____________________ Post your free ad now! http://personals..ca
Guest guest
It was more refreshing this past weekend, as ALL the family got together and had a festival around the b-b-que pit... Yes, the bits of flesh are encased in ziplock baggies, but do you really have to stack it all on top of my broccoli!?! I don't know if the recipe has been posted yet, but I would love to know how to do the gluten steaks. Although, I'm not as gunghao as the person who doesn't eat pre packaged foods... I enjoy collecting all of these recipes against the day when I have the time to use them! "Jeanne C.
