I don't think they would. I am on another list which had this problem - actually, we were getting " look at this " posts with links to, you guessed it, porn sites. couldn't help us and we ended up simply creating a new group. It was the only way. Lee-Gwen

Haras the Wonder Frog I also have a list of my own, which is driving me nuts (for entirely different reasons, though, LOL) and I know how much commitment and hard work is needed. I don't know. But when I suggested an owner, I was rather thinking of the two or three people (see the archives and you'll immediately spot them!) who are very actively involved with this list, and have worked very hard for it, and given it its character, as it were. I believe that if they are interested they will come forward. As you know, there can be co-owners too, or an owner and a couple of moderators. Provided they agree on guidelines!!! The thing is who will volunteer to put in the work for moving the files. In this I could certainly help. If each one of us took the responsibility of copying one folder, the work would be quickly over. And yes, this thing you're saying is very important, the file space. I hadn't noticed! Of course, even if a new group is created, the files of this group will still be here, if one chooses not to but rather go " no-mail " Irene Towards_health_and_beauty/ Friendly support and guidance to everyone struggling with weight and wellness problems.
