Leafy greens/Fridge problems

I hate my refrigerator (Whirlpool). The veggies and fruits I put in

the bottom drawer FREEZE. I've tried raising and lowering the

temperature of the fridge, but neither do any good. The bottom of

my fridge is wasted space. Has anyone else here had this problem?

I cleaned out my fridge once and found that there is a drain in back above the drawers that had gotten clogged with a lettuce leaf... what a mess. Can you move the configuration of your shelves and drawers or just get some baskets that will fit somewhere else in your fridge and get rid of the drawers entirely?! I would think that there are some things in the fridge that would mind being a little bit frozen. good luck!
