Guest guest
I was wondering if you could substitute sugar for honey in cake recipes. Honey is about twice has sweet, so the amount would be cut down by half - but consistency-wise, would it be possible to bake a cake with honey instead of sugar? You can do it in most cakes, but try it before planning on a major dinner party! You'll probably have to use about 2/3 the amount of honey, not half, and you may have to add a bit more flour (or take out some liquid ingredient).
