* Orzo Ð are tiny barley shaped pasta,

often used in soups.

* Penne Ð are pasta tubes with angular

ends.

* Ravioli Ð are pillow-shaped stuffed pasta

squares.

* Rigatoni Ð are larger ribbed pasta

tubes.

* Rotini Ð are corkscrew shaped pasta

* Spaghetti Ð are long strands of pasta and

is the most common

pasta dish

in the U.S.

* Tagliatelle Ð are pasta with a

ribbon-like shape.

* Tortellini Ð are curved- shaped stuffed

pasta.

* Ziti Ð are tube shaped pasta often used
