PT- You recently posted what looks to be a great Slow-Cook Sage Dressing recipe that I am going ot give a try this year. I am wondering if instead of the "Day old bread crumbs" I could use a packaged deal like the Peppridge Farm brands?

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to use that. I used a bag of bread cubes

for stuffing/dressing (not sure of the brand). They weren't dry like croutons

though, but more like slightly dryer bread than fresh. Give it a try. If it

needs

more moisture you can always adjust it by adding more broth, water or

butter.
