Guest guest
Welcome to the group Bobby. It is true that Vegetarianism is not Biblical but it does say in Leviticus of what animals are to be eaten and what not to be eat. And meat eating was not introduced till after the flood when the animals went into the ark, the unclean 2 by 2's and the clean by 7's. In the garden of Eden Adam and Eve ate fruit and nuts and grains. And even the animals were vegetarians. It was after sin entered the earth and after the flood did God say it was okay to eat meat. But if you notice that after man started eating meat that the age of man started going down. I do not believe that we will be eating meat in heaven because to eat an animal would be killing an animal and in heaven there won't be any killing or even on this earth made new. I saw a cooking show on TV yesterday and it about made me puke. I had to change the channel. The guy was showing how to cook lobster. Good thing I had the remote to change the channel cause I was gagging. LOL Not sure if that answers your question Bobby. I hope it does anyways. I'm Jeanne alias JC who lives in B.C. Canada. I was raised as a Vegetarian and I had about 3-4 times ate meat but never liked it. I would rather be a Vegetarian any day. It is a choice that one makes to be a Vegetarian or a meat eater or a Vegan. I am doing really well. Have my down days sometimes of not feeling good. More like nausea feeling and all or just feel like sleeping my life away cause of this CFS. But other then that I'm doing okay for the age I'm at. LOL Thanks P_T. Glad you liked the timely perpective. Thanks for that Bean Soup with Dumplings P_T. Knowing me tho I would probably open the can instead of cooking the beans. Steams up the house too much LOLOL P_T you better tell me if you don't mind, what is Ziti? I'm not going to say what I'm thinking. LOL Tho I think you already know. LOLOL Anyrate what is Ziti? Thanks for answering. WOW Katy, let us know how everyone liked that appetizers that you are going to make. They do sound DELICIOUS. YUMMM Thanks for the recipes. I have saved them all. OUCH Lori. My best friend and sister (not my blood sister but we call each other sisters) told me that once you break your toe or toes it is very easy to break them again. I said to her that sure was comforting to know. LOL I hope you toe will feel better soon. That's too bad it still causes you trouble even after 2 years. That sure sux. Sorry DS but I really don't believe you cause I have 2 brothers who are older then I am they don't have hypospadias. My mom was a Vegetarian and she was very careful in what she ate and I know she didn't eat meat, even when growing up. And my brothers aren't blind either. They are both doctors, one got his doctorate from Yale University and is teaching there as well. He is one of the Vice Presidents of the school as well. (V.P. of Biology) My other brother is a bone specialist in Aiken S.C. Both are very smart in their field. And I am telling the truth too. I'm not trying to down grade anyone at all but I do believe that being a Vegetarian or even Vegan is one of the most healthiest ways of eating. Before I sign off I have this funny story that I have to share with you. I was listening on 3ABN where this lady was talking about before becoming a Vegan she was preparing this turkey to clean. And she had to dig around to get some of its innards out. She said she almost puked. LOLOL With that said I shall sign off. Take care and nighters to you all.
