Guest guest
This one is a bit different from my usual baked ziti recipe. However it is good, and certainly quick to prepare. Easy Baked Ziti 1 medium onion, chopped 2 garlic cloves, minced 2 Tbs olive oil 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes, undrained 1 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp dried basil 1/2 tsp salt 1/8 tsp pepper 8 oz. ziti, cooked and drained 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 2 Tbs grated Parmesan cheese In a large skillet, saute the onion and garlic in the olive oil until tender. Add the tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt and pepper. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. Place the ziti in an ungreased 11in. x 7in. x 2in. baking dish. Cover with sauce. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with cheeses. Bale 10 minutes longer or until cheese melts. Yield: 6 to 8 servings. ~ P_T ~ / It often happens that those of whom we speak least on earth are best known in heaven. -Nicolas Caussin, preacher and moralist (1583-1651)
