Guest guest
We made this 2 nights ago. Used some on veat bites (fake chicken chunks). Last night put some on a bag of frozen veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, green bean combo). It's pretty good. My husband loves it and I didn't find it too hot. I got the recipe from Veggie Works Vegan Cookbook which is a vegan restaurant here in Jersey. JAMAICAN JERK SAUCE ½ cup orange juice ½ cup raspberry juice ½ cup molasses ¼ cup Louisiana hot sauce 1 tsp salt 1 tsp garlic powder 1 tsp allspice ½ tsp ginger powder 1 Tbs cornstarch – dissolved in ¼ cup cold water Combine all ingredients – except cornstarch slurry – into a sauce pot and heat to a boil. Reduce heat to a simmer, then slowly stir in cornstarch slurry into simmering sauce. Allow to thicken and remove from heat. Refrigerate. Makes 1 ½ cups – use sparingly
