Good way to share recipes with friends!

You visit a friends house, tell them about a great recipe, and they

want it. What to do? Just have them bring up their PC, point their

browser to the www.ironcitadel.com, and you can download the recipe

for them. What a great way to share when visiting friends!

 

Or you are ready to send someone an email attachment of a recipe, and

all you have is a hardcopy. Of course, you could fax it to them -- but

they don't have a fax machine. Or you could scan it - except you don't

What is that site? The Iron Citadel is a secure web and fax based

document storage company, providing services for individuals and small

businesses. Members are able to upload documents, view their uploaded

documents, download documents, and fax documents into the site. The

fax capability means that if a member only has a hardcopy of a

document, they can simply fax it in and it is stored as an encrypted

TIFF file in the members database area.

 

How to do it? Sign up, put in your fax number in your member profile,

put the recipe in your fax machine, and send it. Then you see your

document with your web browser, download the fax document as a TIFF

file (viewers are standard with Microsoft installations and links to

viewers are available at the site.) Check out the download with your

TIFF viewer. Looks great! Now you have the recipe loaded into your

computer, and also available via web browser when visiting friends.

No fax but have a scanner? Scan the recipe, upload it via web browser.

 

Either way, you have your recipes stored securely, and available to

you where ever you travel. Great!

 

What's the cost? Site policy is " try it before you buy it. " Basic

membership is $4.95 every 30 days for 20 Mbytes of secure storage. You

don't pay until the end of the 30 days of use, and you pay nothing if
