Guest guest
A fun festive snack for this time of year. I love the flavor the peanut butter gives this mix... not to mention the candy corns. Mmmmmmm Jack-O-Lantern Jumble 4 cups Corn Chex 4 cups Rice Chex 1 cup salted peanuts 1/4 cup butter or margarine 1/4 cup peanut butter 2 1/4 tsp Worchestershire 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp garlic pwdr 1 cup candy corn In a large bowl, combine cereal and peanuts. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, peanut butter, Worchestershire sauce, salt, and garlic pwdr; cook and stir until butter and peanut butter are melted. Pour over cereal mixture and toss to coat. Spread into a greased 15x10x1 inch baking pan. Bake at 250 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minute. Cool; stir in candy corn. Store in an air-tight container. Yield: about 2 quarts ~ P_T ~ Nothing contributes so much to tranquilizing the mind as a steady purpose - a point on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye. -Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, author (1797-1851)
