While flipping through some recipes for my son's preschool Halloween

party, I came across " Lumberjack Fingers " . It's pretty much a hot dog

(tofu pup, smart dog, what-have-you) stuck in a roll, but it was so

funny! It looks so much like a severed finger! (yuck-o)

 

Cut out a small section from the end of a veggie dog. This will be a

space for the 'nail bed'. Using a slice of radish cut into the shape of

a finger nail, place onto 'nail bed'. Using the end of a wooden spoon,

poke a hole into a non-split roll. Insert veggie dog with ketchup

dripping out of roll. Looks like a cut-off finger stuck in the bread!

I know, gross, but in case anyone's throwing a party... (!)lol

Have extra condiments for dipping..

 

Another tip I saw for " Eyeballs " . Peel most of a radish leaving some

bits of red. Cut out small space to fit a slice of olive w/pimento.

Looks like eyeballs! I'm may use them as a garnish for an Alien Pasta

Salad I'm making for the preschool. Not sure yet, may be too spooky. (?)
