Guest guest
This is a bit different from my usual marinated pasta salad recipe. I never thought of putting mayo in it before I tried this; the results were quite yummy. Italian Pasta Salad 3/4 cup uncooked spiral pasta 1-1/2 cup halves cherry tomatoes 1 cup fresh sliced mushrooms 1/4 cup chopped sweet red pepper /4 cup chopped green peppers 3 Tbs thinly sliced green onions 1-1/2 cups zesty Italian dressing 3/4 cup mayonaise 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1 (2-1/4 oz) can sliced black olives, drained Cook pasta, rinse in cold water and drain. Place in abowl; add tomatoes, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and salad dressing. Cover a refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight. In a bowl, combine mayo, Parmesan cheese and olives. Gently fold into pasta mixture. Serve in a lettuce lined bowl for a nice presentation.
