Melinda, you asked about how we all like to fix scrabbled eggs. I usually just

spray a pan with non-stick cooking spray, crack the eggs and then stir them

with my spatual as they cook. I then will toss in a dollop of fresh salsa (the

kind you buy in the fridge section) and stir it in until it gets warmed, just as

the eggs are setting up. Then I will put it on a whole wheat tortilla and

sprinkle with cheddar cheese, and roll it up to make a breakfast burrito-thing.

Quite yummy. Your taco scramble sounds good, too.

 

BTW, thanks for adding my sandwich to the files section. You deserve some

kudos for taking on the job of organising things here for us all. I appreciate

Katy, I love your term " fusion cuisine " ! Excellent. Now added to my logophile

list to decribe my favorite vegetarian recipes that take the best of the best

from multiple cultures. *tips hat*

 

Kate, my friend in NZ raves about marmite. I was wondering how this is

different from vegemite, and do you like it as well? I have been enjoying

reading your posts. *smile*

 

Windy, thanks for chiming in on the hotdog thing. I will certainly have to

check around for these in my area; they sound so good, and worth the extra

expense.

That chicken recipe idea sounds divine as well. I am gong to have fun seeking

out some of these new products and trying them.
