Philadelphia's Pesto Christmas Tree

Ingredients

1 (8 ounce) package PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese

1/3 cup DI GIORNO Basil Pesto Sauce

1 cinnamon stick

 

 

Directions

1 Cut cream cheese in half diagonally. Place triangles together to

form Christmas tree shape on serving plate.

2 Top with pesto sauce. Insert cinnamon stick at base of triangle

for " tree trunk. " Serve with crackers. Special Extra: Use chopped red

bell pepper as " ornaments " to decorate tree.

mmmmm..sounds good. I thought i would take this oppotunity to say 'hello', i have been lurking for a while but have not posted until now mainly due to the fact that i don't really cook a lot, unless you count Subway ... I live in Australia (Gold Coast) so much of the brand name stuff is not available here. I am a lacto-ovo vege but do avoid dairy/eggs when ever possible. The pesto over cream cheese sound great..i do the same sort of thing but pour sweet chilli sauce over the cream cheese, also cream cheese with chilli chutney on crackers is a bit of a winner IMHO...so that's it from me...nice to be here and thanks for having me...kate

and our " Australia " folder is empty. If you post them there, I hope

you'll post them to the list as well. You must eat something

besides Subway? LOL!
