Guest guest
I'd just like to say that if this club were reduced to recipes only, it would not be worth the bother. I much prefer meeting others, talking, chatting, and finding out new things. Keep the banter and so on, it's what gives this place a personality. And if this bugs you, you needn't bother showing up here, really, or you needn't bother reading anyting but the recipes. What skin off anyone's nose is the rest of it? and there are cookbooks full of nothing but recipes, after all. Why bother with a club just to reproduce what's already published? The give and take is what MAKES it here. " Nothing contributes so much to tranquilizing the mind as a steady purpose - a point on which the soul may fix its intellectual eye.
