Guest guest Posted August 25, 2002 Report Share Posted August 25, 2002 TAFFY APPLE SALAD1/2 cup sugar1 T. cornstarch2 T. lemon juice1 egg, beaten1 (20-oz.) can pineapple chunks3 med. apples, diced (I like granny smith)2 cups mini marshmallows1 & 1/2 cups salted peanuts8 oz. Cool Whip (I like the creamy one - red container)Heat till thick the sugar, cornstarch, lemon juice, egg and drained juicefrom pineapple chunks,stirring constantly. Set aside to cool. (I usually do this first and letcool while I'm cuttingthe apples). Add pineapple chunks, apples, mini marshmallows, peanuts andCool Whip. Mix allingredients.
