Guest guest Posted August 22, 2002 Report Share Posted August 22, 2002 Sliced Baked Potatoesmedium potatoes 4melted butter 3 Tbspfresh chopped herbs (parsley, chives, thyme, sage) 3 Tbsp- or -dried herbs (as above) 3 tspgrated cheddar cheese 1/4 cupScrub and rinse potatoes. Cut potatoes into thin slices but not all the waythrough. Hint: use a handle of a spoon to prevent knife from cutting all theway. Put potatoes in a baking dish, fanning them out slightly. Brush withbutter. Sprinkle with herbs. Bake potatoes at 425 F (220 C) for about 50minutes. Remove from oven; sprinkle with cheese. Bake potatoes for another10 to 15 minutes until lightly browned, cheeses are melted and potatoes aresoft when checked.You can top with sour cream, bacon bits, etc. just like regular bakedpotatoes.Home Cooking Friends homecookingfriends/Do You ?
