Guest guest Posted August 22, 2002 Report Share Posted August 22, 2002 Very Blueberry Pie1 (10-inch) baked pie shell 4 tablespoons butter 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour 3/4 cup water 1 cup sugar4 cups fresh or frozen blueberries Lightly sweetened whipped cream or vanilla ice creamfor accompaniment In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Stir inflour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly. Addthe water and sugar and 1 cup of the blueberries.Bring mixture to a boil and cook over medium heatuntil mixture thickens, stirring frequently. Removemixture from heat and cool. Stir in remaining 3 cups blueberries into cooledmixture and pour into baked pie shell. Refrigerateuntil ready to serve.
