Guest guest
I think I"m gonna jump in on this one............ First, I'll intro myself........I"m RW (aka Angie), and I"m not a vegetarian.....I do occasionally eat meat (I love a hamburger now and then and seafood and chicken maybe 1x a week at the most)....but I love vegetable recipes and prefer veggies over meat. I live with my fiance (a meat and potatoes man) and our son (6 months). I have been a member for a week or two, and I like the recipes I find here.......I make copies of them to put in my private cookbook (for my personal use made from the net). I am a nursing major (full time student) and nutrition is part of my academic program (even tho I prefer emergency or neonatal). I am also an ex-state law enforcement officer. From what I've gathered on the homepage, this group is for quick vegetarian recipes. Isn't there a difference between a vegetarian and vegan? As I recall, vegans do not eat anything from animals. That's all good....if that is your preference. From what I've gathered from this group that not everyone in here is a vegan, and like recipes with milk or eggs or cheese.....if someone doesn' t like those recipes, then by all means don't cook them! No one is twisting arms here. I personally think if someone doesn't like what is posted in this group or any other group, they don't have to belong to them......there is always the "leave group" feature. Thank you to those posting those wonderful recipes!!!! I enjoy them immensely and will keep them for a long time! Keep it up! AngieHome Cooking Friends homecookingfriends/Do You ?
