Guest guest
When my son was in 6th grade he took part in the mandatory D.A.R.E. program. He came home and told me that he was more interested in trying drugs than before taking the program. They described the side effects of marijuana, etc. and my son said they all sounded very pleasant, except for the really bad ones. I truly believe the D.A.R.E. program is a total waste of money and time. I worked for 17 years in law enforcement and arresting people for marijuana is an easy bust. Half the police force wants it legalized and half does not. Personally, I think we should do what they do in Holland. Have the government grow it, make a profit off it, and decriminalize it. I would think that the Casinos in Las Vegas would really be pushing for this law, it would bring in even more tourists, and people will be spending even more gambling, and not caring that they are throwing their $$ away. It should be an interesting election.
