Guest guest
LOL.. Your welcome Melinda. Actually I was a veggie about 10 years ago. It lasted all of about 3 years. Stopped when I got preggers. So far I've ditched the red meat & pork. I'm having trouble getting off chicken & my rare seafood. Hubby & kids are carnivores. Hubby thinks I've lost my mind. :-P~~ Though we are all huge animal lovers so he understands my using the cruelty free products. How do you veggies with meat eating families cope? {huge sigh} Pass the butterbeans! Guest guest
How do you veggies with meat eating families cope? It's been 15 years so they are definitely used to it now. What we do is any event to celebrate at a restaurant, we go to a completely vegetarian chinese one very close by. At first they were reluctant but after eating their food, every person asks to go there. If we have to go to someone's house, we bring a main dish so we know we have something to eat. And best of all, every Thanksgiving we go away. We have not celebrated that holiday in 12 years. Usually we go to Jamaica but this year it will be St. Lucia.
