He noted, for instance, that when type O blood encountered wheat, it sort of clotted around it, to protect the body from it and get rid of it promptly. He noted that AB's, for instance, all reacted the same way to beef (badly). So he made up lists of good and bad foods by the type of blood a person has, and then he started putting his patients on these lists. One by one, their health problems started clearing up. I heard about it at work from a friend and tried it and had all kinds of good results; my back and neck pain dropped about 75%, post nasal drip stopped, cough stopped, indigestion went away, skin stopped itching, etc. -- these changes happened very quickly for me, and other good changes continued to follow, like fingernails that didn't break, etc. My boss tried it and his arthritis pain disappeared and he could golf longer and enjoy it more. Another friend tried it and the pain he'd had in his arm for 4 years no doctor could fix went away in 3 days. Another tried it and stopped having heart palpitations. If I eat a no-no food, the bad symptoms will hit me for 3 days after, which is just what D'Adamo said. I'd had an allergist test me for food allergies, and he found almost nothing -- but D'Adamo was right! His web site is http://www.dadamo.com The food lists are at: http://darkwing.uoregon.edu/~sshapiro/ER4YT/FoodLists_TOC.html It's free to try the lists... scroll down and find your race, then your blood type, then print out the lists. If you live/eat with other blood types, he has combo lists there too. Avoid your bad foods for a month. See how you feel. Then sit down and have a big dose of the thing you most hated to give up. See how you feel for the next three days. You can test out for yourself how these foods affect you. Note, if you're around 30 or less, you might not notice a lot, but if you're over 40 you're very likely to see big changes. D'Adamo said if we eat the bad foods when we're young we just get more colds/flu, etc. But after a lifetime of eating them the damage is cumulative and we get the biggies... cancer, diabetes, strokes, heart problems, etc. From what I've seen and what my friends have seen, I totally believe him. The first thing I did was go 3 months without bananas. Then I had one. For the next three days I felt like I'd fought the Greenbay Packers in a dark alley. I never had another banana! Then I tried the complete lists and got so much relief. I'm now careful what I eat because I hate to feel that bad. Now, I have NO vested interest in this and I've shown you how to do it free -- but really, the book is worth getting, and it explains it a lot better than I can. I just hope this helps someone. There's also support groups for the different blood types on . Melinda
