Hi,,spice girls' vocal concert > > > To ALL: > > The follow message from this group was intercepted by my VIRUS software > and quarantined. Please DO NOT open it. I sent a note to the listowner address this morning asking that the list settings be changed to not allow attachments. Perhaps if others do the same, it would help. Also, please keep in mind with the Klez worm, it grabs addresses from the infected computer's system to use as the purported " sender, " so the person you think is sending the virus may not be the one whose system is infected. Here is a link to the virus definition files at the Symantec site, which explains how this worm works: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.h (AT) mm (DOT) html If the URL wraps on your screen, make sure you get the whole thing in your browser window. Many innocent users do not know they are infected with a virus (or passing one along to others) until they get feedback from someone seeking to dump them off the list. To avoid this complication, virus checking ought to do at least three things: 1) periodically check all your computer's files for embedded viruses, 2) check your email as it arrives, and 3) check your email as it is being sent. David O'Neal My email is scanned for viruses before it is sent.
