Thanks - Tammy This bean spread is quite tasty, but you might like to cut back on the garlic some. My husband and I both love garlic, but after making it, we decided that one clove is quite enough! White Bean Spread 1 can Navy beans or great northerns, drained (about 1 3/4 c.) 2 strips meatless bacon, chopped (I used Mornigstar) 3 cloves garlic, minced 3 tbsp flat-leaf parsley, chopped 1 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp lemon juice salt & pepper to taste Put all in food processor & process about 45 seconds, until smooth. Refrigerate for up to 4 days. cheryll
